Fresh strawberry purée mousse
Chocolate ganache + chocolate dipped strawberries on top
1) Chocolate Cake Layer
Ingredients:
1 cup flour
1 cup sugar
⅓ cup cocoa powder
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
Pinch of salt
½ cup milk
¼ cup vegetable oil
1 egg
½ tsp vanilla
½ cup hot water or hot coffee
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350°F / 180°C.
Mix dry ingredients.
Add milk, oil, egg, vanilla. Mix smooth.
Add hot water/coffee last. Batter will be thin.
Pour into an 8-inch pan and bake 20-25 min.
Cool completely.
